What you may do

You may read the Site, and link to it. You may quote a short passage with attribution and a link, as normal fair use. You may use what you learn here to inform your own, independently built work.

What you may not do

  • No scraping or bulk extraction. Automated collection of the Site’s pages, its API responses, or the underlying datasets — in whole or in substantial part — is not permitted.
  • No republication. You may not copy, mirror, redistribute, frame, or host the Site’s content, code, charts, or computed results, in any medium, without prior written permission.
  • No commercial use. The Site and its outputs may not be used in a commercial product, service, newsletter, or research offering without a licence.
  • No misrepresentation. You may not present the Site’s analysis as your own, or imply endorsement or affiliation.

Requests for permission or licensing: open an issue or reach the author via GitHub (alev-12).

Third-party data

Raw inputs come from the Kenneth R. French Data Library and AQR Capital Management’s public data sets. Those datasets belong to their respective providers and are subject to those providers’ own terms. The Site claims no ownership of the raw data — only of the code, the analysis, and the way the results are derived and presented.

No warranty, no advice

The Site is an educational research project, provided “as is” with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Replicating a historical result is not evidence it will continue. Past performance does not predict future results. You are responsible for your own decisions.
